Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how NjiraCloud handles personal information when you use its developer and cloud platform. It is an initial product draft and requires owner and legal review before commercial launch.

2. Information from you and GitHub

When you sign in with GitHub, NjiraCloud receives and stores the GitHub user ID, login, and display name needed to create and operate your account. When you connect repositories, the service processes repository and account metadata needed to configure projects and deployments.

3. Service and customer data

NjiraCloud processes project configuration, deployment and commit information, build artifacts, domain settings, managed-resource metadata, and build or runtime logs in order to run the service. Customer application data is distinct from account information: customers are responsible for the data they place into their applications and workloads.

4. Sessions and technical information

NjiraCloud uses an HTTP-only, same-site session cookie to keep an authenticated session. Platform networking may process request and forwarding information needed to route and secure application traffic. This repository does not establish a separate analytics or advertising-telemetry program.

5. How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, operate projects and deployments, provide managed resources, secure the platform, troubleshoot problems, provide support, and improve the service. Billing-related processing may apply only if paid services are introduced and disclosed.

6. Sharing and providers

Information may be processed by infrastructure providers and connected services necessary to provide the platform, such as GitHub where you authorize a connection. We may also disclose information when required for legal, safety, security, or corporate-transaction purposes. A definitive subprocessors list requires owner review and is not represented here.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and require owner/legal review before publication. We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers and rights

Information may be processed where NjiraCloud or its service providers operate. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, and portability. For people protected by Kenyan data-protection law, applicable rights and complaint options may include the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. Rights vary by jurisdiction and are not identical everywhere.

9. Children, changes, and contact

NjiraCloud has not established a minimum-age policy; this requires owner and legal review. We may update this Policy and will post changes here with an updated date. A privacy contact channel and any applicable complaint process must be confirmed by the owner before commercial launch.
